Making the Trade: Investing in yourself

Texas Alternative Investments Association (previously Texas Hedge Fund Association) is an organization for the sector and for the public which promotes the understanding of hedge funds. Through education and communication, Texas AIA opens paths for dialogue for regional members of the investment community. 

Finding themselves beginning a new phase of their organization, Texas AIA was ready to invest in their future. It was our job to give them a visual identity and a brand-new website that would set them up for future success. 

Before & After

Texas AIA’s new brand needed to embody the executive spirit present in their organization. A community composed of professionals including hedge fund managers, investment advisers, high-net-worth investors, institutional investors, and many others needed a brand that reflected this level of professional caliber. We designed the new brand as sleek, clean, and patriotic:  a perfect combination of Wall Street aesthetic and the spirit of Texas. 

Following the new logo, we created Texas AIA’s official brand style guide, along with letterheads and business cards.

Creating TAIA’s New Online Home

Texas AIA’s new website needed to be both informative and practical. Functionalities for the new site included:

  • Member portal with easy ability to sign up, renew your account, and access member-only benefits.
  • Event calendar to see upcoming networking event
  • Newsletter sign-ups and contact us forms
  • Ability to register for events online, with payment according to whether the user is a member
  • Organization results and more information to educate potential members
  • Sponsors & supporters lists

The bold colors, mixed with the geometric, post-it-like symbols emulate the professionalism Texas AIA roots itself in. With imagery creating an ode to Texas, Texas AIA’s new home for their members and visitors is as sleek as their organization itself.
